The role

You will build the platform used by commodity traders, exporters and treasury teams to move money through global supply chains.

The stack includes TypeScript and SvelteKit, Postgres and Supabase, Solana rails, and integrations across KYB, on/off-ramps, e-signing and accounting.

You will own meaningful parts of the production system, with properly reviewed code and support from experienced colleagues.

What strong looks like

• A BSc or MSc in computer science, or equivalent technical grounding earned another way.
• Solid fundamentals: classes and objects, data structures, system design and design patterns.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and SQL, with the curiosity to learn the rest of the stack.
• Something you built and finished, such as a repository, side project or shipped feature you can explain line by line.
• A specific reason for wanting to work in agricultural trade and payments.

How we assess

Demonstrated ability matters more than a years-of-experience checklist. We use AI tools heavily because they amplify engineers who understand what they are building. They do not replace that understanding.

The role

We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Specialist to bring new customers and users onto Loam.

You will identify suitable businesses, build relationships with senior decision-makers and manage opportunities from the first conversation through to onboarding.

What you will do

• Identify and approach potential customers.
• Build relationships with founders, finance and treasury teams.
• Present and demonstrate the Loam platform.
• Develop opportunities across payments, FX, treasury and working capital.
• Manage the sales process through to activation.
• Represent Loam at relevant meetings and events.

Who we are looking for

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial confidence with senior decision-makers.
• A proactive, organised and self-directed approach.
• An interest in payments, fintech and international business.
• The ability to explain complex products clearly.

Experience in payments, banking, treasury, international trade, commodities, telecoms or B2B software is useful.

An existing network of businesses moving cross-border payment volume is a strong advantage.

Compensation

The role includes a competitive base salary and performance-based commission.

Commission will be agreed based on experience, network, involvement in the sales process and the value of the customers and payment volume generated.

The role

Loam is a platform for moving money, converting currencies, managing treasury and accessing working capital. Commodity traders, exporters and treasury teams use it to move money through global supply chains.

We are hiring a Head of Treasury & Payments to run the function that executes, funds and reconciles every client payment.

What you will do

• Execute client trades end to end, from funding through conversion and payout.
• Source and benchmark rates, and execute FX across our corridors.
• Manage daily liquidity across bank accounts and stablecoin wallets.
• Own relationships with banks, payout partners and liquidity providers.
• Reconcile every payment and resolve exceptions quickly.
• Build the processes, controls and reporting the function needs to scale.

Who we are looking for

• Hands-on experience in treasury, FX or payment operations.
• Confidence executing FX and managing liquidity across several currencies.
• Strong relationships with banks or liquidity providers.
• Precision with numbers and a calm approach when money is in flight.
• Interest in stablecoins, emerging markets and international trade.

Useful experience includes cross-border payments, money transfer, banking, commodity trade finance, or FX and OTC desks.

Experience with African corridors or stablecoin on/off-ramps is a strong advantage.
